"Tuscan Doorway #4" is an 8 x 10" watercolor depicting a typical doorway in Italy. It's set in an old stone building, with great architecture and of course, flowers on the doorstep. It invites you in for a visit. This painting is done with an ink and wash technique.

Victoria (Vikki) Bouffard has been working as an artist for most of her life. In childhood, drawing was a favorite pastime. She began painting as a young mother, first working in oils. She studied watercolor for five years and later acrylics and colored pencil. Most recently she has been working in pastel, along with watercolor which remains her most prominent medium. She captures a “moment” in her paintings and loves the beauty of flowers, the serenity of landscapes, brooks and ocean. Work in still life is an exciting opportunity for Vikki to play with light, shadows, and the nuances of color on objects.
